A useful idea for your vehicle can become a starting point for someone else's. Kaikumi is being built to keep those ideas, files and contributions connected—without making every project the same.

The spirit is individual craftsmanship: a practical detail, a thoughtful adaptation, a part with a purpose. Shared knowledge and modern 3D tools can help people make things their own.
Useful changes, not just more files.
Explain the problem, the intended application and what changed. A preview is a way to inspect a design—not proof that it fits.
Credit stays connected.
Keep declared creators, permitted source links and visible version relationships alongside the work. Credit is not ownership, permission or a verified contribution score.
There is room for another direction.
Suggest a change to a maintainer, or continue independently when the licence permits it. An independent continuation does not need the original author's response or approval.
What you can try today
- Find a starting point. Browse the published samples by vehicle or task. Inspect the exact files, declared licence and limitations. During the closed beta, browsing and downloads are limited to invited testers.
- Bring your work. Sign in as an invited tester to upload your own design, or link to an external original and upload a permitted derivative. Links are attribution—not proof of rights or automatic imports.
- Make your change in your own tools. Download a version, edit offline and upload the result against that exact starting point. Unsupported STEP/native files are preserved, not opened or edited here.
- Choose how to share. Saving is private. Suggest a version for maintainer review, or start a permitted independent continuation. Adoption does not publish it: publication is a separate choice of exact files.
Withdrawal stops future access through that publication. It cannot recall downloads or remove independently permitted access and history.
Know the boundaries
All vehicle years are welcome. The scope is independent, unbranded, non-safety-critical and non-collision designs. This is not a printing, repair or physical-delivery service, and it is not affiliated with a vehicle manufacturer.
Rights, units and applications are contributor declarations. Review, publication and a successful digital check are separate from physical fit or safety approval.
Participation is voluntary. Finding and downloading a useful public design is a valid way to use Kaikumi; feedback, photos and uploads are not an access fee.
Why Kaikumi?
A coined name inspired by kai in kaizen and kumi, a group or team. It expresses the idea of improving things together—not a literal Japanese phrase.
Kaikumi is an independent product. It is separate from the founder's consultancy and physical workshop services.
